Sleep Disorders

There are three major types of sleep problems:

1. Insomnia, which is difficulty in falling asleep or difficulty in staying asleep

2. Hypersomnolence, characterized by too much sleep, or an uncontrollable sleepiness when it is no longer necessary, such as with narcolepsy

3. Nocturnal episodes, such as night terrors, nightmares, and sleepwalking
