How to Fall Asleep Earlier


If you’re having problems waking up in the morning or feel you’re not getting enough rest, try sleeping earlier than you normally do. With the many distractions in today’s society, it’s actually easier to forego sleeping. There’s almost always something to do, from television to videogames to bars that open till 6am and most everything you can imagine.

If you’re having trouble sleeping earlier, consider the following tips:

1. Don’t start work or personal projects before going to bed. You know it’s gonna leave you wide awake till 2 or 3 hours more.

2. Don’t take any caffeine within 6 hours before the time you want to get to bed

3. Try not to eat anything around 3 hours before you want to get to bed. The body will keep up digesting the stuff you put in and sleep may come just a bit harder.

4. Keep your sleeping area dark and comfortable. Remove any distraction you may have lying around in the sleeping area, like radios or laptops.

5. Try to accomplish as much as you can during the day, it will leave you tired enough you will actually want to sleep early

6. Try a controlled fasting diet, like the Warrior Diet. This diet is actually what I’ve used to normalize my sleeping hours. For some reason, the eating cycle normalizes your body clock and actually makes you want to sleep at night.

7. If you have problems you can’t solve at the moment, leave them for tomorrow. No use letting it keep you awake if nothing can be done.
