Peach Protein Shake Recipe


MINERAL CONTENTS:

Here’s a recipe rich in the antioxidant carotenoids, vitamin C, and potassium.

Peaches, which we will use for this recipe, also taste excellent with flaxseeds which are a great source of lignins. They are also a great source of highly-touted omega-3 fats and fiber.

Flaxseeds, according to claims, can prevent hot flashes, osteporosis, breast cancer, and heart disease.

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup frozen peach slices
1/2 cup organic vanilla yogurt, low-fat or non-fat
1/2 cup cold water
ice
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
1 teaspoon flax seeds

PREPARATION:

1. Dump the peach and yogurt into the blender.

2. Add the ice, water, whey and flaxseed

3. Blend at medium to high speed until slushy and pour into a tall glass.
