1. Put the fruits in the blender first with milk or other liquid base. Always start with a liquid base. Dice the fruit first whenever possible.
2. Fasten the lid tightly. Always start with high-speed for about 30 seconds.
3. Check the fruits afterwards. If some stick by the side of the blender or on the blades, unclog them with a spatula.
4. If the mixture is properly blended, add ice. If using crushed ice, add all at once. If ice cubes, add two or three at a time so that the blending is smooth.
5. If shake is too thin, add more fruit. If too thick, add some water.
6. You can replace a full meal with a smoothie by adding protein powder and flaxseed oil.
