Banana-Strawberry Protein Shake Recipe


Bananas are classic favorites for shakes. They are sweet, tasty and blend well with other tastes. Combining the two creates a real delight in the palate and is one of my favorite fruit shake combinations.

INGREDIENTS:

6 strawberries, frozen
1 banana, frozen
1 tbsp. skim milk powder
1 1/4 cup water
ice
1 heaping tbsp. high- quality protein powder (optional)

PREPARATION:

1. Dump the banana and strawberries into the blender.

2. Add ice, skim milk, and protein powder

3. Blend at medium speed until smooth. Pour into a glass or travel mug and serve.
