Alternative Sleeping Habits


Some people actually don’t get all their sleep at night. With the current trend in society of wanting to do more and accomplish more, people are turning towards alternative sleeping schedules to free up more time and get more things done.

While this website will not debate the healthiness of such ventures (many doctor-certified healthy individuals engage in some of them,) we want to give a brief overview of how alternative sleeping schedules go.

Some people recently coined the term "sleephacking", referring to modified sleeping patterns and schedules that do away with the regular eight hours a day every night.

There are a lot of folks now devising their own sleeping schedules. Some do it out of necessity, like night-shift workers or touring musicians. Others want to do it out of personal challenge. Some do it to allow more time for things that mean more to them than closing your eyes every night with the lights turned out.
